belinda brenizer
Belinda Brenizer, President of Hawkins Ins Group, is a second generation agency owner. Agency was started in 1956 by her father, Delbert Hawkins, which he still works part-time with the agency. Belinda started her insurance career in high school and after graduating from Truman University, began full-time working in personal lines. She obtained her Certified Insurance Counselor degree in 1983.
Belinda works along with her husband, JL, in managing the agency, working in marketing with our company partners and larger commercial lines accounts. Belinda has been very active with the state Insurance association serving as Small Agent committee chair for 3 years, Leadership Conference committee and chairing the Government relations committee. Belinda served as Mo Association of Insurance Agents President in 2009. Belinda was named to the AIDCO Hall of Fame for Nationwide for 2012. She was also named as Insurance Person of the year by the Mo Insurance Association for 2017.
Belinda has 2 sons, Chase & Nick, who are both active in the insurance business. She enjoys traveling, boating, and spending time with her grandkids and family.
